In partnership with Oxfam in Kenya and the Centre for Domestic Training and Development (CDTD), the Time to Care Kenya (TTC) project is a gender-transformative initiative that seeks to advance gender equality and strengthen care infrastructure for women and girls. The project addresses inequalities in both paid and unpaid care work through interventions that aim to recognize, reduce, redistribute, and reward care and domestic work, while also promoting the meaningful representation of women in decision-making spaces. Ultimately, TTC aims to amplify the voice, agency, leadership, and decision-making power of women and girls by fostering gender-equitable social norms and supporting the adoption and implementation of gender-transformative laws, policies, and practices by duty-bearers in support of care infrastructure for women and girls.
