This project seeks to empower grassroots stakeholders, including sub-county accountability cells and citizen groups, through capacity-building workshops and performance monitoring initiatives to track budget implementation and engage with duty bearers effectively. We also aim to deepen collaboration among diverse stakeholders, including civil society organizations, media outlets, and duty bearers. The project envisions stronger capacity of citizens on evidence-based advocacy towards fiscal accountability and transparency in Kisumu County. We are also working towards enhancing collaboration among CSOs, duty bearers, media, Sub-County Accountability cells, and other stakeholders on fiscal transparency and accountability within the county.
