We believe that good governance is fundamental to creating a fair and just society. Youth Alive! Kenya will work tirelessly to ensure that the voices of young people are not only heard but actively involved in decision-making processes at local, national, and international levels. We will advocate for the implementation of key policies and frameworks that support youth development, ensuring that the youth of today can shape the world of tomorrow.
Economic Empowerment & Livelihoods
We Invest in Youth for a Sustainable Future
Youth Alive! Kenya recognizes that investing in young people is essential for sustainable development. We will focus on developing evidence-driven, innovative, and sustainable programs that address the practical needs of young people. Our initiatives will align with global agendas such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and will encompass areas such as employment, skills development, entrepreneurship, and environmental sustainability.
Social Wellbeing and gender equity
We Invest in Youth for a Sustainable Future
We are committed to addressing the social implications of youth unemployment and the lack of opportunities. We aim to create a society where all young people, regardless of gender, can enjoy their rights and contribute to prosperity and equality. We will work to eliminate gender-based inequalities and promote inclusive representation in decision-making, particularly regarding health and Sexual Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR). In addition, we will address the disproportionate effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on women and youth in our program planning.
How we work
Through advocacy, partnerships, and capacity building, we aim to create a society where every young individual, regardless of gender, ability, or sexual orientation has the opportunity to thrive and contribute to the betterment of our communities and our nation. Together, we can make a lasting impact and build a more inclusive and equitable future for all.
ADVOCACY
We passionately champion the rights of youth, women, and People With Disabilities at county and national levels through strategic initiatives and policy engagement.
PARTNERSHIP
Collaboration with local and international youth organizations and working groups in 12 counties enhances our reach and impact.
CAPACITY BUILDING
We empower organizations and youth networks with training and support to be effective advocates and change agents.
