Today we joined the world in celebrating the international women’s day 2022 together with Nairobi City County Youth Affairs Department and young women from the 17 sub-counties in Nairobi City Count Government. The session covered topics including young women empowerment, mental health, climate change and peace. The Chief guest was the Director of Gender who urged the young women to use the learnings and to be peace ambassadors within their communities.
As we celebrate this day under the theme #BreakTheBias, Nairobi women have made an intentional move by taking part in the 2022 General elections in order to create #LastingChange in politics.
