Youth Alive! Kenya - February 25, 2022 - 0 comments

Youth Alive! Kenya has partnered with AWAK(Association of women in Agriculture Kenya) in a phase 2 project dubbed ‘Resilient recovery for vulnerable mothers living in urban informal settlement areas’ targeting 760 women in Nairobi’s informal settlements.

The project empowers women with urban farming techniques that are very doable on their very small urban spaces which usually are used as “dumping sites”.

The women can be able to grow vegetables for daily consumption to their families and for economic gain.
