Are you an active member of YAK working group? are you between 20 and 28 years of age? if so then be ready to apply for the Right to participate program to have a chance to work with the Norwegian-Kenyan team for increased youth participation and against extremism. Right to Participate is a collaboration between LNU and Youth Alive! Kenya (YAK). The theme of the exchange is how combat extremism and radicalization of inclusive youth. In half a year, three Norwegian and three Kenyans working together with the goal of increasing youth participation in our society. During the exchange, the participants will learn more about the mechanisms for youth participation, what contributes to extremism, and they will gain expertise in inter-cultural communication and organizational development.
We are recruiting two participants from Norway and two participants from Kenya, who will work together in a team for eight months. The first four months are in Norway, then four months in Kenya, before all participants return to their organization for the two-month concluding work phase.
